Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress most well known for her roles in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam and Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. Her younger sister works as an assistant researcher from Belgium who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah is from Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began playing the piano classically in her 8th year. When she was 10, she was in a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the base of her early performing and music composition career. She was a performer at the college, in a variety of productions hosted by The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea started her career in theatre through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva in a Leo advertisement for coffee in the year 2006. She also acted on the Podhigai Channel on a TV series. Her performances have been all over India. She played a minor role for the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. She was asked to play one of his female leads on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani who is married and mother of a man with an affair. Andrea was cast in the film following Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. The film was released in early 2010.
