Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as one of the top athletes in sports. Biles was the very first female gymnast from America in history to have won four gold medals in the same Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after her and her sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles won a gold in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the top level of competition in 2011. In less than two years, she was the most successful athlete in her discipline. The thing that set Biles apart was the consistency of her flamboyant attitude as well as the level of effort she put into her routines throughout all four events--vault uneven bars balance beam and floor exercise.
