Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. Alison Krauss and LeAnn Kymes were two of the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. Her first job was in the business of music at a very young age. When she was 10, she won local competitions and made her first album. In 1985, she enrolled with Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. She was also invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Then, in 1989, her first solo album came out in conjunction with the band.
